In the summer of 2006 a group of about 25 people approached Rev. Dr. Gerald Gingrich, and asked if he would pastor them till they could make decisions about what they wanted to do to become a church.
We were given the hospitality of a member to meet in a pole barn on their property for the summer months. By August we decided to become incorporated, and asked Rev. Gingrich to be our stated pastor. Then we had to decide where we could meet for the upcoming colder months. In God's plan we heard of a church and church house for sale in Seven Valleys. We went to see the buildings and after much prayer and thanksgiving decided to purchase both properties.
The prior congregation gave us out of their love a substantial gift toward our new ministry and left all needed materials for us to use, including dishes, paraments, chairs ,tables etc. This tiny congregation raised $33,000 in a month for the down payment. All things are possible with God. We have since purchased new hymnals, made our sanctuary handicapped accessible, paved the parking lot, made electrical updates, and put new countertop in the kitchen, and added new sound system to name a few. God is blessing so we can bless others.
If you’re new to TCWF, we want you to know that you are welcome.
One of the best things about our church is how friendly an inviting everyone is. We have sunday school (for all ages)and worship services on sunday morning, prayer service on Wednesday night, and other various bible studies and small groups.
Our church exists primarily to introduce people to the Person of Jesus Christ and allow them an opportunity to receive Him as their Savior. Secondly, our church exists to encourage, disciple and equip people who know Jesus as their Savior to live for Him, love Him and serve Him with their lives. We believe that these reasons for existing as a church come directly from the Bible (John 3: 16; Romans 10: 9-13 and Ephesians 4).
Wondering what to wear? We have a diverse congregation that includes people with many different styles. You’ll see some in coat and tie with others in jeans. Wear what you feel is comfortable and appropriate for worship.
For directions, click “Get Directions” on the menu bar to the right for a map. There is plenty of parking all around the church. We look forward to seeing you!
